SILK ROUTE CLASSIC
Starting on September 26 in Baku, the Silk Route Classic was a classic car touring event organized in collaboration between Jules Verne and TransAnatolia, following the legendary Silk Road route.
A total of 27 classic cars embarked on a unique 12-day, 3,200-km journey across three countries. The oldest vehicle in the convoy was a 1949 Bentley, while the youngest was a 2002 BMW Z8.
The journey began in Baku and Qabala (Azerbaijan), continued through Tsinandali, Tbilisi, Borjomi, and Batumi (Georgia), and concluded in Türkiye with stages through Erzurum, Erzincan, Malatya, Şanlıurfa, Gaziantep, and Adana.
Participants explored mud volcanoes in Azerbaijan, historic monasteries in Georgia, and Türkiye's natural wonders — with highlights including Kemaliye Stone Road, Mount Nemrut, and Göbeklitepe, all receiving great admiration.
The Silk Route Classic seamlessly blended a passion for classic cars with cultural discovery and friendship, once again reflecting TransAnatolia's vision for cross-border experiences.
